War makes it hard to care about Zionism

I’m just saying.

Another war, seemingly the largest single product of the Jewish national movement. Survival of our people? In a “scared of the sky” kind of way.

Some people seem to get so impassioned about their Zionism when there’s killing to be done. Like, who hoo! I just can’t get into it. I don’t take personal offense when Israel gets attacked and neither do I have only Israeli friends in the places Israel seems to be fighting. So it’s hard to be revved up about nationalism of any kind.

Even this stuff doesn’t get me jazzed, it just makes me laugh:

I made the LOLCat caption myself.
